Wine Advocate 89 points - The Trimbach 2010 Pinot Blanc exhibits pep and brightness even after three years in bottle much less as tasted the year after bottling, a tribute to the concentration and acidity of its extreme but appealing vintage. Almond and apple pit accent a juicy apple and lemon matrix, with alkaline and mouthwatering, saline notes woven through the considerable finish. This lithe, infectiously juicy, transparent and downright interesting example of a too-often lackluster genre should continue to delight not to mention offer fine value through 2015. (Aug 2014)

Wine maker notes
The grapes are harvested from Trimbach’s own vineyards and about 120 growers with whom the family has long-term relationships. The grapes are harvested in late September/early October and vinified at the Trimbach winery. The two grapes are fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats and do not undergo the secondary malolactic fermentation. The wines are released after two years of cellar aging, when they have a perfect balanced of fruit and acidity.

Technical notes
12.5% abv

Food pairing
Delicious with light meals such as salads, poultry, chicken, veal, roast pork, and seafood. The Pinot Blanc has beautiful fruitiness and makes an excellent all-occasion drinking wine.
