|Juan Giol, Bautista Gargantini and Pascual Toso came from Europe to Argentina around 1.880 and settled in Mendoza. They associated and established their first winery, being really pioneers of the argentine wine industry.
Our grand parents Humberto Giol (Juan´s son) and Eleonora Gargantini (Bautista daughter) got married and with the same spirit of their parents, in the thirties bought wineries, vineyard and also founded Bodega y Vinedos San Polo. These possessions were situated in one of the best environments for wine growing and wine making, right by the foot of the Andes Mountain range.
Nowadays Alejandra Giol and Rodolfo Masera are the owners of the winery, they want to follow with the same spirits of their Grand Grand Father and his love for the Wine industry.
