Incredibly deep red characterizes our Zweigelt. On the nose the wine shows deep fruit of fresh cherries and dark berries with some hints of cinnamon. On the palate the wine seduces with juicy fruit paired with fine acidity. The medium body is backed up by fine acidity and ends in a long and elegant finish.
|Joseph Umathum, Wolfgang Peck and the Andau winegrowers’ cooperative have joined forces and are proud to introduce the new ZANTHO wine label. Zantho is also an indigenous genus of lizard that lives in the area and the winery uses this imagery on every label. The vineyards benefit from warm air pushing back into the Burgenland region from the hot plains of western Hungary. Zantho’s wines are a genuine, classically-grown, and unite the strengths of Austria's local red varietals with the character of the region.
