Wine maker notes
The Airen grapes are carefully selected to extract the best aromas and flavors. The wine undergoes a natural fermentation using the Charmat method. The outcome is a youthful, floral wine with fruity aromas. The secondary fermentation takes place in small capacity vats creating finer bubbles.
This wine is ideal to serve by itself as an aperitif, or with cheese and fruit.
Producer
A French word that speaks to an “air of distinction and style that people admire and approve of.” It also can be used to talk about a “hidden treasure.” Both definitions apply with the brand’s first offering of a 2009 Cotes du Rhone that blends Grenache Noir, Carignan, Syrah and Cinsault.
Cachette is situated on the right bank of the Rhone River, France, the vineyards are part of the 25 villages where the AOC “Cotes du Rhone” was born.
