Taste
Rich, concentrated dark fruit character against powerful yet silky tannins and bright acidity. Excellent structure, with a distinctive freshness to the fruit that creates an elegant profile.
Alta Luna (“High Moon”) Phases represents the finest selection of grapes from prime vineyard sites in the foothills of Italy’s breathtaking Dolomite Alps. This elegant yet robust fusion of Merlot and native varieties Lagrein and Teroldego combines flavors of blackberry, dark cherry and plum with distinctive spicy notes. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months, this vibrant red is smooth and beautifully balanced, with fine tannins and a lingering finish.
Much like the varying lunar phases have their specific characteristics, each varietal in Phases brings a particular quality to this enticing red blend. Teroldego with its distinguished intensity and color brings notes of raspberries and structure to the palate. Notes of currents, cherries and red fruit are particularly intense in Lagrein which also imparts balance and elegance. Merlot brings complexity of aromas, roundness and soft tannins resulting in a wine of incredible structure and finesse.
