Alma del Sur is located in the Uco Valley, one of Argentina’s top winegrowing regions. Situated at 3,200 feet, the estate’s vineyards are in La Consulta, a sub-region of the southern Uco Valley. The long growing season, high elevation and alluvial soils provide ideal growing conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. The fruit was hand-picked from vines that on average 20 years old. Maceration and fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks with regular pump overs.
