Our Burgundian Pinot Noir is elegant and refined with cherry and red fruit flavors complimented by a
light smokiness and spice. The dense ruby color is as bold as the cherry and spice bouquet. True to the
Burgundian style and to the varietal, the wine has an earthiness to it that graduates into bright and bold
red fruits. This wine continues to unfold up until the smooth finish.
Carpe Diem is the product of a classic Burgundian winemaking style using Pinot Noir clones from the
Pommard and Dijon regions. Firepeak vineyards unique location at the foot of an extinct volcano peak has
a soil composition that is a mixture of marine sediment, clay and volcanic deposits.
