`Jorio` is a Montepulciano d`Abruzzo single-vineyard, and the result of a project that Umani Ronchi is realizing in the bordering Abruzzi region. Capitalizing on the wienry`s 10-year experience with the production of Montepulciano d`Abruzzo, and the 40-year cultivation of Montepulciano grapes in the Monte Conero area, Umani Ronchi decided to produce a Montepulciano d`Abruzzo single vineyard. `Jorio` really expresses the maximum potential of the Montepulciano grape.

Malolactic fermentation and then aged in Slavonian Oak barrels for about 11 months.

Ideal for on premise wine lists and "by the glass", and a distinctive bottle that also looks great on the shelf. A clear example of the potential that can be achieved with the Montepulciano D’Abruzzo grape. Good with roast meats and chicken, pasta with meat sauce. Often drunk with the regional "Vincisgrassi" pasta.
