The light amber color hints of what’s to come– slightly dusty aromas of buttery nut brittle, brown spices, mocha and toasted oatmeal are met with flavors of dried fruit, mocha and pink pepper. Kinnickinnic is a Native American word that means, ”What is mixed.”
Founded in 2004 by Guy Rehorst, Great Lakes Distillery is the first distillery built in Wisconsin since the end of prohibition. Master distilller Doug MacKenzie produces small batch, award-winning artisanal spirits using old world handcrafted methods and traditions.
