Intense
color, concentration and body. Aroma of plums and red fruit, typical of this variety, accompanied by a
touch of vanilla and roundness with a smoky oak taste, provide a smooth finish on the palate.
Owners Brigitte and Philippe Subra moved from France to Argentina and founded Carinae Vinedos & Bodega in 2003. All Carinae’s vineyards – one surrounding the winery and two others in the prestigious Perdriel region of Lujan de Cuyo – are located in the High Area of the Mendoza River. Epoxy lined concrete vats are used for fermentation and many of the wines are finished in French oak. The total process, from the management of the vineyards to bottling, is supervised by Michel Rolland’s team in Mendoza, via his consultant firm – Enorolland.
