Montepulciano d`Abruzzo is one of the most widespread native varieties of Italy, mainly along the Adriatic coast. It is appreciated for its full, mellow qualities due to its low acidity. The production area for this excellent wine stretches along most of the coastal foothills of Abruzzi and back into the mountains along the valley of the Pescara river.

Perfect with most pasta dishes, meat sauces, and meats, or just quaffing.
