The Marshall pays tribute to Goulartís founder Gastao Goulart, a Brazilian military leader who purchased and cultivated the property while in political exile in Argentina in 1915. This Malbec is derived from the oldest vineyard rows of the Don Pedro vineyard in Lunlunta.
Persistent red and black fruit aromas are accented by spices, particularly cloves and white pepper. The wine also possesses well-integrated notes of tobacco and minerals due to the oak aging. Boasting complex fruit flavors, the wine is well-structured, with a balanced acidity and big, sweet tannins.
Enjoy The Marshall with grilled red meats.
