Aromas of white fruit, followed by white floral notes of hawthorn and acacia, rounded by citrus aromas and a hint of vanilla.
This initial impression on the palate is intense, yet delicate with a fine balance between structure and acidity giving harmony and elegance. Citrus notes of grapefruit and pineapple are sustained by a little vanilla on the palate, which is beautifully balanced and rounded with a long, elegant finish.
Wine Advocate 91 points - The 2002 Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvee Belle Epoque is a striking Champagne endowed with considerable power and richness in its exuberant fruit. The wine blossoms on the plate with tons of richness and a broad, expansive voice to the fruit that is quite beautiful. A long, creamy finish layered with tropical fruit rounds things out nicely. This bottle with its swirl of dainty anemones holds Perrier-Jouet's most remarkable champagne and one of the world's best known prestige cuvees. The success story began with the discovery of a bottle designed by Emile Galle in 1902. The bottle was so strikingly beautiful that Perrier-Jouet resolved to fill it with prestige champagne. The best grands crus in its vineyard, with a predominance of Chardonnay grapes from the Cote des Blancs district, were blended to make a subtle, elegant, refined champagne. Cuvee "Fleur de Champagne" was launched with brio 1969 reminding the world of the house's history and identifying it with an Art Nouveau style. Since then this champagne has been the emblem of Perrier-Jouet, and the ambassador of its expertise.
Apart from making an excellent champagne, Perrier-Jouet was the first champagne house to have dare decorate its bottle with flowerse. The flower-covered bottle is now instantly recognized all over the world.

|The grapes are pressed in the village of Cramant on Perrier- Jouët’s traditional wooden presses. After it is racked, the clear juice is transported to Épernay for fermentation. In the cellar, modern stainless steel tanks provide precise temperature control for the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations of the base wine. A liqueur de triage of sugar, yeast and base wine is added to the bottle, but of only 9 grams, in order for the natural subtlety of the prestige cuvée to shine through. Finally, the wine is bottle aged for six years in the chalk cellars of Perrier Jouët to maintain its balance and freshness.
