COLOUR: deep ruby red, with faintly garnet contours.
BOUQUET: intense, stylish and elegant, with hints of
almond, toasted coffee and delicate spicy overtones.
FLAVOUR: round, dry, austere, firmly structured
and well-orchestrated, elegant with a great emery-fine
contour in the finish.
Misciano, small borough abandoned in the 15th century, gives its name today to the most important vine of Borgo Scopeto, located at 360 m above sea level, south/south-east exposure with clayey-sand soil. Wine produced only across the better vintages, after an accurate selection of grapes.
