Wine Enthusiast 87 points - The Esterlin cooperative’s non-vintage cuvee is crisp and clean, but with a slightly bitter character that likely comes from bottle aging. It’s starting to show hints of toastiness as well mature pear flavors. (Dec 2013)

Wine maker notes
A brilliant colour, with hints of amber, showing a wine arrived at maturity and balance.
Brut ”Selection” is a cuvee of charm (the freshness of the Chardonnay is fully expressed) and complexity (the aromatic palette of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir is broad, with ripe pear, quince and black cherry dominating).
A structured and lively cuvee, with very persistent aromas on the palate.
Like many Champagnes, Brut ”Selection” makes the most convivial and striking of aperitifs.
