Very rich from the get-go. Extracted, sweet, stewed fruit on the nose. Mouth filling with a ton of refreshing acidity that cut through the sweetness. Again, extracted. alcoholic but lots of fun to drink. Not as balanced as could be and tannins a little short. This would go great with Chinese hot food.
‘Divoto’ is ruby red in color with garnet highlights. The bouquet is inviting with aromas of ripe red fruit, notes of spices, cloves and coffee beans. On the palate it is very structured, full-bodied with lush tannins. The finish is long with persistent fruity notes. It pairs well with hearty roasted or grilled meat, stews and flavorful aged cheeses.
