Again Very Dark with Purple/Eggplant highlights. DArk Berries, Graphite, Inky. The nose is remeniscent of the color, deep and impenetrable. With time opened up to a silky fruity, woody fragrance. Although this is a Bordeaux blend I could not get that from this wine. International tasting albeit very well done and delicious. What struck as the most about this wine was the refreshing acidity which was basically the backbone throughout the wine. The tannins were also present and accounted for, and the finish was marvelous and long lasting.

Very Dark Thick and Viscous. Plummy, Tart Cherry with a bit of Oregano and black pepper in the background. Excellent balance with good mix of Fruit, Acidity and Tannins. Some bitterness towards the end enhanced the finish. Although this was a very good and well made wine-I would have never guessed this to be a cabernet Franc. No trace of anything coming close to the vegetative, green, spicy character of Cab Franc. On a second note the wine didn't age gracefully after being opened for a day--The next day the wine was very flat with very little character.

Technical notes
Destemmed and cold macerated for three days, the whole berries were fermented for 12 days on its skins in stainless steel tanks with daily pump overs. The wine aged for 10 months in French oak (70%) and American oak (30%).
