Deep ruby red
Warm, ripe on the nose, intense and of great refinement.
Complex, smooth, full bodied, lots of cherry notes and plum
Wine Spectator 91 points - Fleshy, with flavors of ripe cherry and plum, creamy notes of red and black licorice and fig paste, joined by accents of pekoe tea leaf, bresaola and spice. Well-integrated, offering good balance, leading to a subtle herb-tinged finish. Drink now through 2018.—A.N.
