Flavour: it reveals itself as full-bodied, deep, ripe, round, harmonic and persistent with a final note of licorice.
Riparosso is ruby red in color with violet hues when young. There are aromas of red fruit on the nose. The palate is deep, full, round, and well-balanced with a lingering hint of licorice on the finish. Pairs well with roasted red meats, braised meats, game, poultry, medium-aged cheeses, and it is ideal with lamb.
