Cinghiale rating 4.1 Fragrance, Finesse and elegance. We all guessed this was a burgundy from France, it was not.. It is a Pinot Noir from Alto Adige. Ruby red with grenadine highlights. Intense nose of orange peel, vanilla and sour cherries. Needed time to come around but when it did it pleased everyone. Mouth filling with precise acidity and firm tannins. Good amount of fruit and spices in the mouth leading to a splendid tart finish. As Rich would a say a " lovely wine". This wine needs to breathe to come around to its full potential. Ready to drink now but I think it will further develop with a few years.
