Wine Spectator 95 points - The 2008 A Lisa is composed of 90% Malbec, 9% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot The wine was fermented with native yeasts and spent 9 months in seasoned French oak before bottling without fining or filtration. Dark ruby-colored, it offers up an impressive bouquet of cigar box, underbrush, violets, and black cherry. Satin-textured, sweetly-fruited, concentrated, and elegant, this layered Malbec can be enjoyed now and over the next 8 years.
Bodega Noemia de Patagonia is on my short list for finest winery in Patagonia.
Gorgeous fruitcake, anise and incense notes lead the way for a rich but superracy palate of freshly crushed boysenberry, fig and blackberry fruit. Black tea, spice and graphite notes course through the finish, where the latent grip lurks. This will need some cellaring. Malbec. Best from 2011 through 2018. 264 cases made. –JM Wines Spectator 95 points
