Wine Advocate 91 points - The 2008 A Lisa is composed of 90% Malbec, 9% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot The wine was fermented with native yeasts and spent 9 months in seasoned French oak before bottling without fining or filtration. Dark ruby-colored, it offers up an impressive bouquet of cigar box, underbrush, violets, and black cherry. Satin-textured, sweetly-fruited, concentrated, and elegant, this layered Malbec can be enjoyed now and over the next 8 years.
Bodega Noemia de Patagonia is on my short list for finest winery in Patagonia.
