This is the best white wine that I have had in a long time.
It is so rich and full of flavor that all I could think of is the spicy hot sea food platter with clams, mussels, scallops and shrimp
that it pairs with so well.
It's a little pricey but once you try it you will say, as I did, it is well worth it!
"The 2006 Bride Proprietary White Wine is enticing. Abundant aromas of lychee nuts, rose petals, honeysuckle, and orange marmalade are offered in the complex aromatics. Fruity and juicy with low acidity and a fleshy, full-bodied mouthfeel, it is an enticing white to drink over the next year." 92 RP
2006 Black Bart's Bride White Blend 49% Marsanne, 38% Viognier, 13% Chardonnay
Winemaker notes: Pale straw gold; Aromas of white peaches, dried apricots, almonds, and fresh tangerines, transition smoothly into ripe gooseberries, honeycomb and lemon peel and distinctive minerality; Complex, yet soft tannins and a full mid-palate lead into a seductive finish that stretches on.
Enjoy with seared ahi, quail, scallops, and of course the list goes on! Also pairs well with spicy dishes.
