Fermented in concrete tanks and aged in stainless steel, the wine presents quintessential ripe and spicy Merlot aromas and flavors. Its soft fruit and complex bouquet is well integrated with soft tannins and a long, pleasant finish.
Bought by the de Taffin family in the 1920s, this venerable, 20 acre Domaine is located on the right bank, just north of Fronsac, in the Meyney appellation. The soils of this Bordeaux region are primarily clay and sand, which are particularly well suited to growing Merlot.
