"Medium Red color with deeper red highlights. Closed in nose at first, but with time revealing led pencil, sweet cream and a touch of Cab/Merlot on the nose. Drinking very well right now with soft acidity and tannins. Although 70% Sangiovese this wine drinks more like a Merlot. Creamy and soft on the finish with some sweetness. An excellent value wine-very well made. A much better marriage between grapes then the Micante. (drinks like $25.00)" Cinghiale Rating 3.8
